I’ve always been torn between physics and computer science, which led me to study mechanical engineering at Polytechnique Montréal. However, after exploring a few computer science courses, I decided to switch to a Computer Technician program at Cégep de Saint-Jérôme, which let me dig deeper into technology and discover my true calling.

I was immediately drawn to the SQL programmer position at Prim Logix, because I saw an opportunity to strengthen my SQL skills while working within a professional, enthusiastic team.

Outside of work, I like to stay active, whether at the gym or hiking Quebec’s mountains. I enjoy video games and board games just as much, especially with a good hot chocolate.

AI Programmer Analyst

Driven by strong curiosity about technology, I studied computer science and moved from web development to applied AI. I’m particularly interested in agentic workflows that automate reasoning, decision-making and complex tasks.

I enjoy turning abstract ideas into concrete, reliable solutions while exploring modern tools that push the limits of traditional applications.

Bruno Pelletier

Lead C++ Programmer

After completing my DEC at Cégep de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, I spent about twelve years helping a local business support and improve its IT infrastructure.

After working too long as that company’s only IT resource, I found my place at Prim Logix within a dynamic, highly involved team that helps me sharpen my skills. The team also offers a relaxed work atmosphere that makes you want to head to work every morning with a big smile.

When I’m not developing software, sports take an important place: Spartan Race–style obstacle courses to stay in shape, and the microbrewery marathon to treat my taste buds.

Frédéric Bourdeau

Lead Web Programmer

I followed my father’s passion and teachings to study computer science.

I’ve been a web programmer at Prim Logix since August 2019. I felt at home from the first weeks on the job, since the team is so welcoming and open to everyone’s ideas. It’s a company where you can laugh while you work! Everyone’s involvement in business and development decisions shows during our Friday team meetings, which also help build good relationships between colleagues.

A lifelong video game enthusiast, I love both playing them and designing them in my spare time.

Jacynte Durocher

Quality Assurance Lead

I joined the dynamic team at PRIM Logix in May 2023 as a Software Quality Assurance Assistant. This change marks an important transition in my career, after several years working as a psychosocial intervention worker, with a bachelor’s degree in psychoeducation.

Throughout my journey, I also completed computer science courses at Cégep de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, which allowed me to acquire knowledge that now supports my work.

In my role, I leverage my analytical skills, rigor, and attention to detail to contribute to the quality and continuous improvement of the solutions developed at PRIM Logix.

I am very happy to be part of this adventure and to continue learning, growing, and contributing to the development of PRIM Logix alongside a passionate team.

Being something of a perfectionist, I like taking the time to do things right. Being creative, I enjoy contributing my ideas, and seeing them come to life is very rewarding.

On the other hand, I can’t work effectively under pressure… Deadlines that are too tight hurt the ability to make the right decisions. I realize my best accomplishments generally came when we had plenty of time.

I hold a DEC in health sciences from Collège de Maisonneuve and a bachelor’s degree in software engineering from Concordia University. After college, I chose technology because biology classes were clearly not for me. I love programming and mathematics, which are much more my thing.

I’m thrilled to work at Prim Logix as an SQL programmer and to put everything I’ve learned into practice. We have a very welcoming team that’s always in a good mood. There isn’t a day we don’t laugh at the office.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me at the gym or on a soccer field, a sport I’ve played since childhood.

Vincent Clouâtre

C++ / AI Programmer Analyst

I hold a DEC in computer technology from Cégep de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Université de Montréal.

I started my professional career at the end of my college studies, two years ago, which gave me diverse experience in several areas of IT through my role as a full-stack developer. That experience also helped me recognize my preference for back-end development. I’m very happy to start working at Prim Logix as a C++ programmer analyst to deepen my knowledge in this role and put my existing skills to good use. I’m also glad to have been hired, since the employees quickly showed me qualities and values I believe in and that suit me.

In my free time, I often play video games or read books. I also enjoy taking care of my cat, a little creature who demands a lot of attention.
